Very basic DIY question! (filling holes)

lol

Well they're normal sized screw holes really (with the rawl plugs still in) - oh and it's dry wall.. if that makes any difference!

It would work with the stuff you linked to, although polyfilla is stronger. Also if your going to paint the wall polyfilla and then rubbing it all down will give you the better finish.

The best way I've been shown by my old man is to fill it and pack it as tight as you can with a filling knife. Then just before it goes off, get a damn sponge and wipe it down - no dust, no mess.

Important thing is when wiping it down is to use circular motions - gets the best finish.

Hmm okay, i'll stick with normal polyfilla then I think.. just thought their might be a quicker way, seeing as i've got loads of holes to fill :D

I'll give the sponge thing a try.

You can use that stuff pretty mich anywhere with small holes. I have used it on doors where the handles have been replaced then just painted gloss over and it did a great job... :)
