Okay so, I'm looking to build a new gaming PC since the one i got now is old!
My budget is £700 but lower the better, what I have come up with so far is this:

For 700 I would go AMD, you can get a nice 955 quad core spec for that.

yeah shadowakes spec looks good, and its a lot better than the 775 option, one thing i would change is spend a little more on the case, maybe an antec300, still within your budget

Buy a better motherboard. Seriously nobody seems to recommend the 790GX or 790FX motherboards and I dunno why. Its crazy, everybody agrees the SB750 chipset is working wonders but everybody who specs AMD goes with that same goddamn Gigabyte.

Now, if you want to save money, you could forget about the SSD and that would bring the price down by £90. Or you can buy a 1GB 4870 instead of the 4890 which would save you £35 or so. You do both and the total price is down to £600, but with a brilliant motherboard.
