VFR400R a decent bike?

A very good source of info is the jdm forums cbr250.com tell k916 bazza sent ya :)
These are rock solid but beware the usual regulator rectifier faults, will cost you £60 for a new one.

just been and test rode a ZZR600 E2. VFR is pretty much out of the window now. It would be great for a quick commute but no god for my Bristol to London trips. The ZZR seems way more sensible for that. Just need to pass the MOD2 net week....

Anyone had any experiance with the ZZR?

Was once the fastest 600 you could buy.

I had one for a year but it was an old abused example I used for commuting in the summer, it was fine though, decent on fuel, decent gear box, bit slow steering mind.

Surely the ZX6R would have been quicker?

...I genuinely don't 100% know but I thought the ZXRs were always super sport while the ZZRs are sports tourers?

The ZZR was kawasakis super sports offering for a number of years before the ZX6R arrived.
