video cam for 1280x720?

whats a good video camera to record video at 1280x720 with decent quality but is also cheapo? dont want to spend loads of cash on one but want good image quality results.

Your only real option is one of Sony's HD cameras. Your lookin at around £800+ tho'

Is this for viewing on a pc or tv?

Why 1280x720 specifically? That's not a standard video resolution, and anything over 720x576 you're going into HD territory as said, which isn't cheapo..

1280x720 is the bottom end of the hd resolution, is otherwise known as 720p.
just want to take high quality home videos.
