Today, i am about to go to knockhill to let a few people borrow my gopro Hero 2 camera. Two people to be exact. They want me to stitch both videos together, so they can compare there best lap side by side. so i have accepted the challenge. Im not much of a video editing person. So a week a go, i am using adobe primiere elements 10.
Just for practice, i used two videos from karting and put them together to compare the two different kinds of karts. It was just a quick 10 minute job. I know i could do better by maybe adding images of the karts, and other media/information before starting the video. Just to give an insight of what the comparison is. But as i said, it was just a quick 10 minute job. Here it is.
I know its not the best, and not much effort was put into that. But i wish to know, for when i come back from knockhill to edit the video to compare best laps. What should i do? What advice could you give me to make it a better video to watch? Watching people go around a track on there own is pretty boring and not may people are interested in it. But i wish to give it some detail, and make it more interesting but i don't have the imagination for that.
The camera itself, will be mounted on the side of the helmet on both bikes. So the view will be the same, for easier comparison. Other mounting solutions may happen when we get there. I only have 1 camera so i cant take multiple shots, from that 1 lap.
Any advice, tips would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
Marc
