Video Editing

Hey,
Just editing some videos but when i drag them in Vegas Pro there is no audio track. The video format is MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 and the audio is 16bit, 2ch, AAC. I've had a quick google but it suggests the problems are with the format not being mpeg4 or avi, but mine obv is so i'm not sure how to fix it? I'm new to vegas pro so i'm not sure what to try. Thanks.

Never had this before. What version of Vegas have you got? Have you tried installing a codec pack?

Vegas Pro 8b i think. And nah haven't installed any codecs. Where would i find them? And which ones?

Try Nimo Codec pack first off.

I've installed the codec pack onto the computer.. i'm not sure what to do now?

Upgrade to 8.0c as well

What about 9.0b?

Edit: The audio track comes up with 9.0b
