I have a trusty Matrox G450 whic has the nice feature of being able to put all video overlays out to TV even if embedded in a browser. i.e. only the video bit goes to TV not the whole screen. Obviously any player also outputs to the TV.
This doesn't seem possible with an Nvidia FX5600XT which can do the whole screen to TV but not just any part that has a video in it.
Is the G450's capabilities standard on newer cards? Can you get just the YouTube video bit to appear on a TV without any of the rest of the screen?
