Hiya everyone.

As you may know, Im still on the search for an LCD and instead of spending 1k+ on a 1080p/24 (And Im pretty sure most sets have lots of problems) Ive opted to got a £400-500 LCD that supports 720p/1080i and update to 1080p in the future when I actually watch blu-ray/ hd and by then It may just be easier to pick, keeping this in mind, what size LCD do you reccomend if i am be sitting 4-5ft away? :)

you will be looking at a 32" set i would say
i have seen some poor quality lcd's mind and i would suggest testing in the high street etc

I think a Samsun R88/7 may well be what you are looking for. 32" for around £450, my brother has the 26" version and it is a great TV.

Can i borrow you thread ? :)

I have a similar problem, but my viewing distance can be anything from 6-10 feet. I don't want anything too small as this would be a huge problem. I was thinking maybe 40" ?
