Views on Briefcases - Meeting

Hi quick question.

I have a meeting with a Director of a company I work for soon.
I am a executive head chef. Is it OTT to arrive with a briefcase with all my work etc in it, as obviously being a chef, a briefcase is not one of my normal items i use.

Thoughts please.

(and no, there will not be food in the briefcase before some joker mentions it

)

Yes? Then a briefcase is fine.

No? Then you don't need a briefcase.

Then a briefcase would be ideal and also look professional in that situation.

No, dont take a briefcase. Take a massive pile of paper in your hands and just dump it down on the table.
