Vigilante launching paedophile naming website

His name is Chris. His website is Chris-UK.org, which apparently stands for Children Have Rights In Society. Erm.

Running a whois on his domain also shows he's used some sort of privacy agency to hide his details. Irony++
 
This is ridiculous. There is no way this is going to help prevent sexual abuse of children.

You can report an offender meaning anyone can submit rumours if they like. I don't know if everything submitted is posted but it still takes away any 'credibility' (if it even has any to begin with) as it looks like no proof is needed to report someone.
 
I thought it would have come up by now but I see it hasn't.

This guy had a Facebook page for a couple of months showing the same and, again, stating how he worked hard to get the details etc. Turned out that he plagiarised the work from wwwtheratbook.co.uk (no longer active).

It was also revealed that some of the people he put on the site were NOT convicted or even prosecuted i.e. he used reports from newspapers etc about people that were arrested on suspicion etc. Now, given that people in general are of the view of "no smoke without fire" (idiots), it just goes to show how stupid this site is.

The fact of the matter is that, as Sarah's Law and the equivalent in Scotland, is being rolled out which enable parents and carers of children to ask police if there are offenders within their area that present a risk, why do we need (or want) an unregulated project such as this?

Same old same old, just with more media frenzy now. I wonder how long it will be until someone (who will probably be innocent, of course) is killed because of this witch-hunter's target list website.
 
theres guy on there who molested a horse :confused:

theres people on there with life in prison for killing there own kids and stuff aswell

seems like hes used any old crap to bloat the numbers
 
The vicitms of paedophilia are six times more likely to commit suicide as well as eight times more likely to repeatedly attemt suicide throughout their lives. Paedophilia has been found to a lot more danaging than physical abuse with a rate of depression amongs victims 40% higher than among victims of severe physical abuse. Very often suicde also results including the suicides of abusers due the guilt they feel over causing harm.

God, this is going to end in tears! Imagine if you're out on a stag weekend, get caught flashing.. pulled for indecent exposure.. end up on a sex register.. on this site.. house gets firebombed.. :eek:

I hate peados as much as anyone, but this is going to spawn a lot of collateral damage surely?!
