I have just built a desk using 2 x Vika Annefors and a vika table top.
They don't appear to screw together rather the table top just "sits" on top.

I plan on mountin dual 24" monitors to a desk clamp very shortly and I fear that the desktop will be easily knocked off.

Did you sit yours on top and leave it to gravity to hold it all together or did you get creative and attach the tabletop somehow, if so how ?

Just ordered this myself but looking at the info on thier site looks like you stick some cups to the top of the storage legs that slot into the holes on the table top.

There are no holes in the table tops. There are 5 simples in each corner for screw in legs, but that is all.
I have the Vika Alex drawers and cupboard and the 2m table top just rests on top. I have a 24" and a 10" monitor on desk clamps, and they seem to work. It did slide until it found equilibirum, which is resting against the radiator.

I'm getting these too, you can see in the assembly guide for the Annefors that they just have 4 stands on the bottom, and 4 rubber grips on top for the desk.

It should be fine, it also makes moving it around a lot easier.

If you're worried just get some small L shape brackets and screw them onto the inside of the legs and into the bottom of the desk. Should be almost completely invisible and will be cheap and easy to do :)

My worry would be having any annoying visitors try to sit on the desk, and having everything flip up and fall and smash :x

I'll be putting two monitors on it, the sole reason why I wanted a larger desk was so I could use my old monitor as well.

I've got a setup using these legs, and with a decent weight on it I can assure you it's going nowhere. With a monitor and tower sat on top, if I pull the leg unit then the tabletop moves as if it's connected, there's a decent level of friction with the rubber feet they provide. As suggested above though, if you're worried then some L or straight brackets and a couple of self tap screws will solve your worries!

Just keep it cluttered enough, or loads of old tea stains, chocolate stains etc, and they will not even want to park their arse on it :D

Hmmmm, will the delivery people lift the table top up the stairs for me? Everyone else in my house are going on holiday for a month and theres no way I'll be able to get that thing to my room.

That thing is huge, and the reason why it has to come in a van with 2 delivery people for a whopping £30 :O

The annefors can be moved a couple of bits at a time if needed, so those are ok, but the 150 CM desk will be a nightmare to move.

The desk is actually quite light. Its not solid, but is sturdy. You can check on the Ikea website for the weight of the item. I bought a 2m, a 1m, and 2 bases and took the whole lot home myself. Fit in my car, and took it up my stupid steep stairs with no problem.
