Virgin Cable traffic management throttling?

I'm on the lowest service 2mbit. I'm well aware that if i download 350+mb of whatever i will be throttled back to 1mbit. But day in day out i hit 5pm and i'm almost instantly put back to 1mbit. I very much doubt i've downloaded 350mb's of stuff already, and yet i'm back to 1mbit again...

Do they count the whole day or between peak hours only? Its more than possible that i've downloaded over 350mb of whatever since this morning but thats not how they word it, so i'm confused. Doesn't really seem on atm... :confused:

4pm to 12pm they count the download. Are you sure you're not using up 350mb in that hour? 350mb isn't a lot.

Tada very possible, i will start limiting my downloads between 4 and 12, instead of 5 and 12... Damn! 350mb in an hour sound VERY possible :embarassed:

Also as far as i can tell it does include upload, which you take for granted but in the background theres always a wee bit of traffic lol

yeh a lot of cap's take in to account upload, and its scary how much you do upload when you start to look at logs etc.
