Virgin Media Capped in the morning

wtf I have been capped to this morning for downloading 3 Gig, what on earth is going on, thought it was only after peak times, NOT HAPPY.

£37 is a joke for this service now, going to ring up and try and get a reduction.

Ouch. What time in the morning though? I don't know about Virgin, but some ISPs seem to have stoopid peak hours!

if virgin had any sense they would offer another package with no caps for a increased fee I'd sign up for some of that.

WHAT, what new trail, good job I have nothing big to upload, I like it how they tell you about the big new speed update but keep it quiet about new capping trails.

All well and good but comparing cost for cost you've got something like Be or another LLU provider (e.g. UKOnline) providing truly uncapped ADSL residential services for far less (even including the phone line rental).

Seems perfect. £40 for 10MB just like I used to pay before they decided the network could handle 20MB. I'm guessing this has no caps or stupid STMs.

Dont you have to prove you actually have a business before they`ll give you a business package?

According to discussion in the cableforum, it *may* have no caps. The main improvements seem to be the ability to get blocks of static IPs, included phoneline and better tech support.

To me it doesn't seem to be worth the extra cash but I guess if your only option is VM...
