Have a bit of a conundrum,
I have been upgraded to the VM Super Hub for my cable,
My current setup is: Cable modem -> Netgear ProSafe Firewall VPN FVS114 -> Gigabit switch -> network including a Linksys with Tomato firmware for Wireless.

Is it worth swopping out the current router and wireless for this superhub? How does it perform compared to my current 'flawless' system. I do not use the VPN features on the netgear as I have no need for them!

I finally got around to installing my Superhub yesterday, and similar to you I had a Linksys with Tomato and giga switch.

Once I got the SuperHub activated I plugged my Linksys in to one of the lan ports on the Superhub and all worked flawlessly, i.e. i could connect my wirless devices to either the superhub or my old linksys and internet was fine through both, although through the superhub I could get internet at the full 30mbit, whereas through the linksys is was 15 to 20mbit at most.

All my wired stuff went into the gigabit switch and then into my linksys so I just connected the gigabit switch to the superhub instead.

Been working a day and no problem.

Only thing I would say is watch out for the small switch as the back of the superhub, I didnt see it and made myself look like a right plonker when I called up VM to tell them the superhub had stoped working!!

Cheers for that. It would make my setup simpler, since at the moment I have a cable economiser running the cable to one room and back again to run a 10/100 hub as well as 1 cable for gigE to my server. It confusing, but at least this way I can cut down my devices.
