Virgin plus box delivering picture to another tv? how?

I used to have sky plus and had it on a 2nd tv in the bedroom with one of those extender things coming from the plus box down stairs. I was wondering if i could use the same wire to have tv up there from my new virgin plus box? I have plugged it into the 2nd output but no picture appears on 2nd tv. Can this be done, if so how is this done please? Thanks for any help or advice

are you using the v+ in hd mode? (ie using the hdmi port?) when using it like this all other outputs are disabled. If you just use scart you should have no problem though.

Acording to the Virgin Engineer i had here - No. You need a spliter from your "brown Box" and another V Box and card to get it in other rooms. Because the V Box does not supply a 9 volt current to transmit the signal that apparently is needed ?
