My sisters telephone, internet and TV all died about an hour ago... Possibly unrelated, but seems to be strange timing.

I've just started using OpenDNS seems to have resolved most issues with US based websites.

Same here, facebook, myspace, thisissouthwales?? guess they could be using a us based server all time out.

and temporarily changing your DNS server solves it?
Facebook wont work etc.
Anybody have an iphone that is having issues? Trying to update my iphone via itunes and it comes up with 'could not connect to server' or something along those lines.
Bascially i dont even have an OS on my iphone right now because of it. I can't use my bloody phone!!
edit: im guessing itunes would be classed as an american site?

You can manually change the DNS setting I assume. Try it...

sorry had to get hat out.
Using the open DNS servers is a bit better for me but still not perfect. using a US proxy seems to work better but is pretty slow of course.

Doesn;t work mate, i can;t even get onto the iphone home page. It's completely crashed and just says connected to itunes, i connected it to itunes and it goes 'updating via server' etc, then 'could notconnected to update server'
dammit! lol
