I've just bought and installed Vista Home Premium and not to my suprise, Vista won't let me install my Audigy 2 ZS sound card, let alone even detect it!

I'm aware there are a few compatibility issues similar to this; any advice on how I may alleviate this problem?!

Thanks everyone!

Hmm my old Audigy2 ZS worked fine with 32bit vista but im not sure if they are qualified drivers which could be the problem with 64bit

Using an Audigy 2 ZS here with Vista 64 with no problems at all, just downloaded the drivers from creatives site.

I have been very happy with mine too!

I ran Vista Ultimate ( 64Bit ) for a week and then tried the 32Bit version for a few days ( 64Bit vastly superior ) and had no issues at all... I have 4GB too!

Only 3 days ago I started to have issues and they are 95% gone, but still exist.

This is on XP64 now.

I have owned all the Creative cards from the Live 5.1 to Current (skipping fake 24bit Audigy1/lawuit won in EU anyhow).

The ZS was by far the buggyest POS I ever owned at a software/driver support level (normal from Creative).

Try Youp=Pax drivers/apps.

http://www.youp-pax.org/index.php (seems temp down, try later).

I adore my Audigy 2 ZS.. If you just look at the card itself.. you just think Quality! It has gold plating and nice pretty circuits! Sounds great and works in Vista, Linux, everything.
