Hi guys

My mate wants Vista Ultimate after seeing my setup running it :D

He asked asked a couple questions I'm not sure of though -

If he doesn't change his mobo he can install this as many times as he like?

I said yes?

He won't get the nice pack in the OcUK picture as it's OEM (silly but true)

I said no?

And OcUK do it at a really good price compared to everywhere even though it's OEM?

The joy of buying power I said?

Thanks

Sorry ninja edit:

Yes he can install as many times as he likes belongs the motherboard stays the same, but he may need to call Microsoft to get an activation code after approx 3-5 attemps.

He can upgrade, CPU, Memory, Hard Disks and graphics card without invalidating the software.

You purchased and installed OEM Ultimate yourself without reading up enough about the OS, OEM/Retail versions to answer those questions?
Potential shot in the dark purchase you made there.

No I didn't I had it install by the I.T guy at work as he wanted a handful of people to test it out for the first time on his network!

Hence I knew nothing about what was what ;)

I've seen it go for a lot more of certain price check sites though?

There's only a small amount of profit in Windows licensing, OcUK is about average in it's pricing. Some however, take a big profit margin on top.
