It's about time I upgraded to vista as I will be supporting it from now on in my new jobbie, so i need to get used to it and find out what it is all about.

Although im "still" running with the Nforce 2 chipset because of its dolby digital live (and yet i later learnt that Nvidia brought it back on their latest chipset)

Anywho is it true that the nforce 2 chipset doesnt support vista, as i can't find any "true" vista drivers for it, im currently using some xp ones and vista had a few but i read an article on problems with the "sm bus controller" and also the dolby digital live setup won't launch as it says there is no nvidia hardware avaliable ?

About time i specced myself a new machine aye ?

Goodness, Also I have a Geforece 4 Ti4200 from right back in the day, and I want to get dual view for that.

Although once again I downloaded a driver off the net called "Nvidia Vista drivers " that supported the geforce 4 ti4200 but it didnt work.

To be honest I might just end up reverting back to xp for now :(

NForce2 system running Vista Ultimate here with no issues. Abit NF7-v2 + Barton 2500.

I am also running an OC'd Barton 2500+ with an Asus Board of somesorts over here, you fancy throwing your Nforce 2 drivers over my way.

The Dolby digital live won't work properly, everything seems to conflict, and it does just randomly restart when I had vista.

BTW - I Have now reverted back to Xp now though for now.
