Hi there,

Recently I put Vista on my machine, so far am pleased with the way it is working. However, it seems to throttling my internet connection or something along those lines. On another box (Server 2003) I get the full speed of my connection (19meg) - on the Vista machine it is a tad less than that - coming in at about 0.2 meg . Seems a strange problem, something anyone here has encountered or could pass advice on?

Interesting, could be a driver issue with the wireless adapter or mobo as you say - will check it out in the morning. Ta.
 
Generally I would agree, however, I get that and more from the server (which is also on a wireless connection) . Even with a rubbish wireless connection I would expect more than I am getting! Although it would appear BE (my ISP) were having intermittant problems last night, so I'll retry the tests again tonight, still seems strange though.....

On that note though, going wired again soon when I can be bothered to drop the cables through walls.
