Vista Laptop 2007 - bound to be SATA ?

Sounds mad but relative cant be "persuaded" to do some inquiries on
a laptop for me

i want to upgrade their HD but dont know if its IDE or SATA

i'm betting sata myself

more i type this the madder it sounds

Easiest thing would just be to check, dependant on the model this can often only take 15 mins!

Asus had a habbit of using IDE drives when SATA was the norm. I remember the Lamborghini VX1 (2006) and VX2 (2007) both used IDE.

Have a look at what the drive is in device manager and google it.

turned out to be SATA so excellent - upgraded it from 80 to 250gb
