Vista OSX - Any good?

I'm running it. It's quite nice. Got my taskbar at the top of the screen and the dock at the bottom.

Takes a little bit to get used to but it's a change from the usual Windows layout.

Poo... Don't run with Vista 64bit according to the FAQ...
There is now a 64-bit version on the download page. I think the FAQ needs an update.

Was it easy to install?

So basically its a theme and one of the 'dock' programs - can't see the point to be perfectly honest either.

I already have my start bar at the top of my display, the mac leopard wallpaper in 'my pictures' if I want it and I can download a dock if I felt the need for it - I don't.

Yes I know my start bar doesn't look the same but I can't say that looks very nice to be honest.

I currently use something called FlyAKite. It's a OSX transformation pack for XP and I wanted to know if there is a similar pack for Vista before I switch to the OS. I prefer FlyAKite to WindowBlinds because you don't have to use a skinning program of any kind. I'm glad to see VistaOSX '09 works well so I will give it a try when I get my i7 system built.

+ another here.

What's the point of overclocking if you're choking graphics before you've even opened an app.

Its better than desktop shortcuts because they are cached to memory at start up, quicklaunch icons are not ;)
