VIsta Ultimate 64 OEM and RETAIL prices Question...

£358.36 for retail and £114.99 for OEM!

Now unless your a company and need "activation is NOT required for hardware changes." is there anything else different for such a price difference?

I aint blaming OCUK for this as I know MS sets the ball park figures but such a vast difference which to my limited knowledge I can't understand.

Also why are the UK paying 85% more than the USA? As I have read on other sites to my limited knowledge (Sorry If i picked it up wrong some how).

Please don't flame me if I have missed something obvious and just point it out.

All I can think of is maybe Retail is for companies and OEM is for home use on the Ultimate versions?

OEM is for 1 machine and generally installed once.

Retail is for 1 machine but can be reinstalled and activated many times as user wants. It is also transferable to another PC.

UK price is more because thats how it is, we always more for goods then others, just like cpu,ram,gfx card, cars etc
