Whilst using photoshop CS2 for some very small graphics a few meg at the most, a bit or cut & pasting, a filter or 2 etc etc I get a message saying windows doesn't have enough memory to perform this task. my job involves creating some huge graphics for the exhibition industry but these little images were for a website. I got 2 gig of ram as per my sig. because of this i have restored a true image of xp and now have no problems. I know some might say stick with xp which i am for now but id like to get this box running back on vista. any help would be appreciated

Cheers.

I’m using Ultimate with CS2 and 2 Gb of ram. Always manipulating RAW files of around 16 Mb without any problems. Your problem could be Scratch Disk related, if you have a two disk system, go to preferences and make your scratch disk D. If you only use one disk then you could be running out of space. Have you tried the Adobe forums?

Thx for your reply, I have 50 gig set for my c: drive and a d: drive for data. My primary scratch is c: and d: as my second

Yeah im gonna give that a go tonight, fortunately i got a true image of my vista install so can restore it quickly.

Cheers
