Vista Ultimate Worth Upgrading Now?

Ive been lucky enough to have a copy of Vista installed on my computer for the last month or so, Build 6000. Ive had nothing but trouble trying to install and play games on this, Graphics card drivers are choppy and the overall gaming experience is ruined by Vista.

Should i be waiting for another 3months before sticking with Vista? Im now in the process of going back to Windows XP as i cant not play my games for much longer.

Anybody else finding this? I know people recommend 2GB of Ram for gaming on Vista but seriously...Most games dont even require 512MB of Ram to play under XP, Why is Vista so slow for me?

Should i choose the 64bit version over the 32bit?

Which games are you play and which version of vista are you running, 32, or 64?

32bit, i find CounterStrike doesnt get more than 40Fps in the stress test compared to 140fps+ in windows XP, ive tried the latest nvidia beta drivers and used just the defaults. Even tried using the Xtreme G modified drivers, no difference.

I dont see why people are upgrading to it if its this bad for gaming, must be just me...
