I just managed to transfer my thompson speedtouch 330 adsl usb modem to my new vista computer, but now, when i try and set up an internet connection, using my username and password from onetel, it tried to connect through the WAN miniport. I cant find the wan miniport in device manager to disable it, so i cant get it to connect to the flaming internet!
any ideas?

Have you got the Vista update, which you can get from here

yeah i've done all that - the driver and eveything installed correctly, it just doesnt want to attempt to connect to the internet through the speedtouch modem
