Vodafone ARHGHG

i just got off the hpone to some useless twit who couldn't find my account and hand me on hold for 15mins. Joker.

Hung up rang back and got a great scotish fella who couldnt of been happier to find my acount and inform me that the person who was dealing with it forgot to update the notes so it was on hold, for over a week.

Thanks for letting me know, new customer and all i am too :mad:

One element I do find slightly frustrating is trying to speak to someone about account enquiries with the only option available leading me to an automated service; I very rarely have to contact my network but when I do, it is due to an issue that CANNOT be "quickly and easily resolved on the vodafone website".

I sympathise, I had a long protracted argument with them over this particular subject, especially after they sent me a letter saying that I wasn't going to be entitled to early termination. I kept on at them though, via phone, email and letter.
Finally they conceded and let me go without penalty.
I then gave them the opportunity to keep my custom by matching the T-Mobile deal I found on e2save, but they offered me a couple of derisory deals, then stopped replying to my emails, so I used my PAC and hopped over to T-Mobile.

You could try emailing [email protected] as he was one of the team involved with sorting this out, he never answered any of my emails, but I was disputing their decision. He might answer someone like yourself who isn't disputing the decision, just sorting out a mess that they've created.

Good luck!

BUMP

has anyone got any nice default letters i can edit and send to vodafone ? or know somewhere i can get advice on what to include in such letters?

i have been disputing the unlimited data thing on and off for a while now but at the weekend finally found the paperwork for my contract which states 'unlimited data' (on the voda my account section they have bloody changed it so it looks like i never signed up for that...)

im obviously not happy with being charged an extra fiver every month for the last few months even though the unlimited data was the main reason i chose that £30 tariff back at the end of 2009. (which was of course why i questioned vodafone when they kept saying i had always signed for 500mb)

Sorry I can't help, I'd also like to vent at Vodafone for being utterly pants.

I left o2 because their deals were crap, at least their network was sound and my bloody phone worked though.

Vodafone have just sent me a random text message saying that I'll be charged for going over my 500mb allowance. They most definitely sold me the upgrade with 1gb of Data included, this was around 9 months ago now. Am I eligible to leave these monkeys for a more competent provider?
