Hi just got a centre channel to go with the rest of my Monitor Audio speakers. This is the 1st time I have had a centre channel.

It is going through my AV amp,
Now volume wise..... should the centre channel be louder than the front L & R channel or the same?. Or is it personnal choice ?

thanks, just want to set it up correctly.

I have mine 1.0db louder than my l/r but its a personal preference really.
How are you measuring the loudness? Might be worth getting an spl meter and doing some proper measurements rather than relying on your av amp, which can sometimes be a bit hit and miss with auto setup.

I played music through my two front speakers and increased the volume of the centre console until I could hear it fill out the mid and top range. Not too loud though, since it makes it a treble-fest.
