Howdy
So it’s the time to decide what to do for my Uni end of year project. I study Motorsport Engineering and we have to create a project about anything as long as its level 5 engineering and to do with motorsport obviously.
This summer i have been doing work experience with a local company to me who specialise in Old VW's and do normal mot and restoration stuff and also build drag beetles and compete.
I’ve decided to focus around the VW beetle because the chaps at work are going to help me with whatever they can but I’m yet to decide what do to exactly.
I had a few ideas, like designing an off the shelf turbo application package for the 1600cc engine, perhaps some mad engine swap, I’ve seen K20 Turbo Beetle on the net somewhere.
Can anyone give me a few ideas?
