...such fun!

I borrowed my house mates VXT for the day. It's rapid with the stage 3 tune to 260bhp and uprated brakes.

As an everyday car it's next to useless with no space inside and you need to be a contortionist to get in and out with the roof on, BUT... once your in the drivers seat, omg! the grin on your face!

It's such a pure drivers car and great fun down the lanes, acceleration is smooth and very quick, brakes bite and inspire confidence and the handling is sublime going everywhere you point the front wheels

Love it!

(He's changing it back to standard VXT alloys tomorrow)

Wow! What an agressive looking beasty!

Very nice cars, I saw a silver one in town, stock VX, was still a very nice looking machine :)

Bet you had fun :D

260bhp in something like that!! That's going to be quick no 2 ways about it! :D Looks great too, but I agree it is not a daily car, it is very much a drivers car, it look great too.

Sat in one for the first time last weekend, was a Red 2.2 in a big car supermarket, everyone watched me getting in then getting out, please to inform i didn't fall on the floor ;)

That looks way too nice, my neighbour had one and didnt look that good. The big question is are they better then an elise or exige. The exige looks like a supercar and now they come with a toyota engine of course

The engine in the Elise/Exige is 190bhp though I think, and the VX220 Turbo is 200? Not sure on the 2.2 NA VX though...

Although there is an Exige 240R which is supercharged

I love both the Lotus and the VX, but I don't think I could own a Vauxhall :p

Great looking car which has the power behind it too. 260bhp is that kinda car is surely going to be fun to drive. How much do they weight?

Why's he changing back to the standard alloys? Not seen them tbh, but them ones what hes got on now are pretty decent.

God you can see the flippin youngsters in here!!!... (makes me feel Old now! :( )

Nice Motor!... I'd probly not fit in it!... and if I did I'd fall flat on my face getting out!... (Slightly Lardy am I)...

I remember Opal Fruits! I was very distraught when I heard they were going to change the name to Starburst! I still to this day call them Opal Fruits (i'm not particularly old, only 21!)

Anyway, back on topic, that VXT looks amazing! And that much power in something so light and nimble must be an absolute hoot to drive!!

Is it me or does everyone remove the vauxhall spammage from the front grill?

Or are they all like that on them now anyway?

Either way they look brilliant.

The badge looks rubbish lol, thats why everyone removes it - it's massive!

I believe it weighs 900kg or thereabouts. He's going back to the standard alloys because only they are the correct offset, and also the 18's are a bit heavy for a car without power steering, it tends to tramline easily and jerk the wheel about when hitting pot holes.

He might sell it a bit later this year due to change in circumstances. I'll post it up if he does.

that must be insane with phase 3 on it.
Looks good too, definaltey the nicest VX220 Ive seen.
