Waiting time to see a doctor at your surgery...

After having had chat with the surgery they acknowledge their long waiting times and are trying to address it. It seems there is a Government target of access to a GP within 2 working days, which is what they're aiming at.

2-3 days seems about right to me for general appointments. A week+ is getting silly...

I get same day appointments but my GF who's been fairly ill recently needs to wait 5+ days and when calling in at 8am for a same day appointment she's lucky to get through - their phones always ringing off the hook. She was rushed down yesterday to find a massive queue out the front door with people waiting on same day appointments. Shocking tbh!
