Hello,

I bought a lamp and didn't realised it was just a wall fitting lamp and didn't have the option of plugging into the plug.

I would like to see if someone can help me if is possible to just convert it to have just a cable to plug it and use the switch that It has turn it on and off.
I tried to attach you a picture

You could, ideally i'd mount it on a piece of wood. With the bottom open like that while it's not dangerous it's not really safe enough if that makes sense.

EDIT: You need to use 0.5 or bigger flex, if there's an earth connection (and since it's metal there should be) it needs to be 3 core. And you need to fit the plug with a 3 amp fuse.

You could build a small movable wall and fit it to that with a flex and plug at the bottom.

Why you wouldn't take the lamp back and buy a table lamp, I don't know.
