Want a better temp on your 8800 :)

Thats very old and you will then have a gap to try fill to get it to touch your Stock Heatsink again, may be better for WC.

Unless the thickness of that Speader is same as the thickness of the White Cotton Type Memory Pads, then you could simply TIM all parts and have very good contact and cooling. ;)


( Dont think I have not thought about it and as review states, its usually at early hours I get these mad ideas and mod stuff).
 
One of my 8800GTX's IHS' is severly concave. So much so that thermal paste doesn't even touch the center.:eek: Easier to lap me thinks. I don't want to go crushing any more cores. :o
