Aren't EVGA Precision and MSI afterburner both built on top of RivaTuner? They are just fancy front ends to the same engine right?
Overclocking on Kepler is quite a bit different, but the new version of Afterburner and Precision X both hook into the same api's for Kepler. Precision X is just what NVIDIA have billed as the reference standard tool, hence why all the reviewers are using it.
