Anyone had any experience or actually done this themselves? the obvious place is Ebay but when I've just had a look to find some other similar accounts to get an idea of price etc etc no matter what search phrase I use I just get page after page of Character and Gold making guides??

I'm totally lost as to how to advertise it and how much to start at and also if I couldnt find any other accounts for sale myself how the hell are people going to be able to find my listing?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

chrislocalboy, Blizzard trawl internet sites for people trying to sell there accounts and by providing your link to the armory you can have your account closed. Seriously I am not kidding!

On topic, here is 3 links. The top one I have used myself, the others I have got from another user on this forum who said they were good. Do not blame me if things go wrong though as I am just offering a means to help/point in the right direction.

As posted earlier selling of any MMORPG account is illegal as it technically isn't your property and is owned by blizzard or whichever company owns the mmorpg the account is from same with ingame currency.

EBAY also tend to close most auctions of these types if they are found.

ive also got a char, (hunter) i wanna get rid of, if you have any success can you let me know, not sure about using these sites. there any other way of selling?
 
Indie I used accountdealers myself a few weeks ago. After initial contact the account and payment deal had been done the same night within a few hours.

Stop asking and go send a form to them!!!

There is no other way to sell and as people have stated putting them on ebay is not allowed because it is illegal due to Blizzards policy. eBay use to let users sell accounts but after Blizzard got involved and wrote to eBay they decided to ban all sales regarding an account.

ALTHOUGH, some people have had success with ebay and selling there account. Some have been emailed regarding sale of the account and concluded it privatly.

Not much if you use an account traders website. They are only interested in your main character, alts don't really count for a large amount. (Talking from exp here).

Best to sell it privatly on a forum such as WoWtrade.
 
Sold my original account for a whopping £350, but have no idea which site it was now. Level 60 paladin with no alts aswell ;), but that was ages ago.
 
I really wouldn't want to sell my current account. I'd like to play another class with equal gear maybe, but thats it. Dont want anyone else running around with my priesty.
 
Cant get anything decent for *** account i have, guess lvl 70 human priests are needed as much as i hoped. Also got 9 other accounts from 34 to 63 on it but as someone else said, the account buyers dont count them.

Best thing i can do is give it away to a mate and let them try the game ebfore the account runs out?

O well.. was fun.

Aye, priests just aren't a draw any more since the level cap was raised. Back when Shadowpriests where the best class (by far), and nigh on invincible in pvp they were going for crazy amounts.
 
ahhh im so annoyed! i went through all that rubbish about putting all my items in the boxes etc, how much gold, other stuff in inv etc etc, alts! - and then it come up with some error and ive lost it all, sooo fudging annoying!
