I found a great site which unfortunately contains lots of nasty rude words, but gives a great and truly funny insight into life working down there, so I'm not giving a direct link as OcUK doesn't like that sort of thing, even though a great many of the YouTube threads contain similar language from comments left by users and that seems to be OK :confused:

Anyway, for mature OcUKer's that can handle naughty words and may find the site both interesting and very entertaining may I suggest a Google search of Big Dead Place and you may peruse or not at your own discrepancy :)

I'd love to work down there, the harsh environment I could deal with, but poor management would make me want to kil... err, leave, the psych test page just cracked me up! Funniest thing I've seen online in a good while :D
 
My brother works 6 months in Africa, 6 in the antartic, and gets paid an obscene amount of money to do so. Kinda the job I'd like, if it meant I could retire as early as he plans too.
 
probably something to do with oil i'd guess and look up oil workers and kidnapping if that's what he does :D
