i noticed now that in the american version of WAR, you can play their free trial indefintely but you stay at lvl 10.

sounds like a good deal ! i remember i had the most fun in tier 1 anyway.

But does anyone know if this is true for the EU version? the website isnt as clear.

In short yes it is

but obviously you can use the AH and things like that but thats not really a problem

Considering the main fun in the game is Tier 1, this is awesome

I think it peaks in Tier 2 to be honest, but yeah, it makes T2 a lot of fun, especially since everyone starts in Empire now by default.

i don't really want to fall back into a time sink that is an mmo anymore. But sometimes i miss winding down playing a few "battlegrounds".

I'm more that happy to play the tier 1 battlegrounds every now and again for free

and perhaps a few simple pve quests.
