Well had a rubbish day at work, then 1/2 a mile down the road, I get a rear tyre blow out. So i thought great not a problem, chuck the spare on, but no There's a problem, it's got tread, it holds air, it's got 4 holes for the studs. BUT there bloody 1cm more in towards the centre, So the studs don't fit it. So had to get my flat mate to give me a lift to a tyre place and get a new one fitted there and then..

SO a heads up check your spare wheels when you buy a car, don't just check the tread, air and if there's the right number of holes, check the holes are in the right place as well.

Anyway I'm going to go down some newcastle brown.

Unused full size genuine 17" spare here.

My spare > your spare :p.

(Sorry you had a bad day. I have days like that all the time)

I got a spare matching alloy as well, but that's at parents with a puncture, so that will be my new spare at the end of the month (payday).

What makes it worse is I've had it easy for 20months now, It's very very very unusal for me to have a bad day at work.

Anyway the beers flowing, burgers under the grill, Stand up comedy and beer sorted for tomorrow night, pub crawl Saturday night, life's looking good again.

My spare tyre is in my glove box, 2 nice cans of tyre weld!

what help will that do, when you get a blow out like mine, 3 inch gash in the side wall, it even broke the steel reinforcements.

You going to Jugglers? We went the other week and highly recommend it.

I really should check mine, I keep forgetting. I’ve gotfactory upgraded wheels from 16” to 17” assume the spare is the right size.
