Warzone 2100 is a real-time action and strategy game set on earth in the 21st century. Upon entering the postnuclear world of Warzone 2100, you establish your base. Here you conduct research, design and manufacture vehicles, build new structures, and prepare your plans of global conquest. Each campaign features a large campaign map and six or more sub-maps. As key objectives are reached on the campaign map, missions are activated on the sub-maps. These missions are varied and feature everything from hit-and-run attacks to holding territory. The combat is fast and frantic with amazing effects and a true 3-D world with rotatable and zoomable cameras. Weapons range from bullets and lasers to explosive weapons that blast large areas of the highly detailed 3-D battlefield.

This game was 4TW tbh i used to love this to bits , then somehow i lost it :D

YAY i can play again :P
 
My mate had the PlayStation demo, he managed to enable a cheat for all technologies and have infinite money by accident :D

It looked pretty damn good, I love the way the multiplayer has a box for you to draw in, so innovative.
 
yep thats the one, the problem was the best body and gun was far far superior to everything and once you had it you were unstoppable. The game just didnt have a good countering system but was good fun none the less.

No, the 22nd century starts 1st January 2101, just as the 21st century and 3rd millennium started in 2001.
 
Blimey, I think I first played Warzone 2100 on a PS1 :p (was between PCs at the time)

A real blast from the past, and a great game from memory. It's what got me hooked on RTS games actually.
 
CAn anyone get this to run fullscreen?

It only runs ins 640X480 window on mine which makes it impossible to play.

i remember this. i had the demo a long time ago. pumpkin studios made it. i can never forget their logo lol its burned into the back of my skull from playing this game over.. and over... :o
 
oh man i loved this game, cheated slightly though, in a early level you can simply stop and leave the game running to gather lots of oil as long as you didnt activate a trigger that started the next level.

also ripple rocket's rule.

move shortcut of the .exe with the extra graphics mods to your desktop, then change the target too

heh, just leaving it running in the background to build up my reservoir while my builders are covering the map with rows of defences, ive done this level before and its hard one you are still stuck with silly little wheeled things and the enemy hits you with a swarm of full blown tanks.

should be about done come morning me thinks.

the game is small in size because it doesn't have briefings etc. but your not missing much all the fun is in churning out ever growing tanks.
