i've just had some new tyres on my shed (don't ask) and when browsing the review sites came accross THIS

what on earth are they on about?

Castors should be the very detail of a motor-car which deals with the way, this is why desirable castors, like BFGoodrich g-Grip, would rather rather elevate the controllability and the running efficacity of your lizzie. The bulk of our drivers would rather address to our place to take up BFGoodrich g-Grip once they claim fine castors, and this should be an issue for our enterprise to be contented with.

BFGoodrich g-Grip must answer lots of motors. Our drivers might cherish the awesome safety of trindles and the big fall of the bluster standard when fitting BFGoodrich g-Grip in their motor-cars.

The deliberate contour of BFGoodrich g-Grip may facilitate your motor-car the precise emote to the rutn of the vane and the accuracy when running at extreme swiftness. BFGoodrich g-Grip may also be pretty longevous, which may make obtaining the rollers a great package.

As a knowing automobile haver who has tested a great number of all kinds of sprockets trade marks, I can be capable to declare that BFGoodrich g-Grip should demonstrate a desirable congery of elevated calibre and not really expensive sum. After an extended researching I can be capable to declare that I have actually came across what I was willing to, the ideal sprockets for my automobile - BFGoodrich g-Grip.

Motor trucks own a truly substantial ancestry, with stock and know-hows growing. Yet, the outline was kept virgin. BFGoodrich g-Grip uses the realizations of years of skill for the motor buyers ordering the commented trucks to receive the soundest quality of enjoyment and potency. Buying BFGoodrich g-Grip must warrant that you could be enthusiastic about the way your vehicle comports on the road.

Good wheels request high-grade tires similarly men want top-rate slides. In my opinion, you should not take up the least dispendous foot wear suppose treasure jogging, no? BFGoodrich g-Grip can be desirable for dense utilisation, you would rather suc

This tbh. It's all inappropriate synonyms. Should've used Google Translate. :p

Also, as I'm sure will be pointed out to you, tyre reviews done by users are fairly useless because they're all great until they lose grip.. and ironically, the worse the tyre is, the less likely someone is to post about how rubbish they were cos they'll be dead! :p

Go for comparative reviews done by car magazines, that sort of thing, where there's some objectivity. :)

I'm sure we all know where this opionion came from but I disagree in a broad sense, and tbh I think I am more qualified to comment than certain younger BMW owning people, having driven a lot of miles in different cars with differing tyres.

Reviews from people comparing their new set of Cheng Shins against the previous set of Chicken Rubber Deathslides they had fitted should probably be disregarded but user reviews from people with higher performance cars are certainly representative (the tyre review section on IMOC was very useful). If they weren't then you wouldn''t get such universal agreement on tyres that are known to be pretty good. Obvioulsy you won't get accurate back to back scores as you do in magazines tyre tests, but these are somewhat irrelevant anyway as they are only valid for the conditions under which they are tested. A change in temperarture or road surface could easily swing the results a different way.

Why does it matter who first voiced the opinion? I don't just recite stuff 'cause 'Fox said it so it must be true', it is an opinion that makes sense to me so has become my opinion.
I agree that for models of enthusiast cars, the opinions of the hundreds of people on the relevant forums should not be disregarded, not least because the main reason for disregarding tyre reviews - lack of knowledge about a tyre's limits - does not apply, because these cars will usually have been pushed to the limits at track days and the like.
However, the OP does not appear to have such a car, so chances are, the reviews he will find are unlikely to be of any worth.

you are quite right in that i have a 170bhp FWD shed, my biggest issue is traction in the wet as it is very easy to loose traction on the front when pulling off with a little haste!
