As a avid detailer, it may sound funny but I don't mind the car getting dirty.

It's the fact I know that the paint is in tip top condition underneath the surface dirt, I don't stop washing and detailing the car as it winter, in fact I wash it more often. I have setup a flood light system so I can wash the car in the dark too.

Getting rid of and keeping rid of scratches, swirl marks and other kind of paint and body mars is the true goal :p

When I sold my black type r the guy had worries as he had seen so many bad examples as the honda paint isnt the best, and black showing up all the imperfections.

His first words were "Your not joking about your detailing obession" :p Enought said :)

Im exactley like you , i clean my FRP every single week waxing it every 2. People just dont relise how bad salt / road grime is on your paintwork when its left there for weeks on end.
