Watch experts! Need a ladies watch

Hi,

It's my mum's 60th birthday in January, and I know she's always wanted a 'dressy' watch, i.e. one that can be worn on special night's out at restaurants and so on. Now, I know nothing about watches... my knowledge is sadly limited to Argos level

Ideally it should be very small, sleek and durable, i.e. something that will last a long time.

My budget is probably around the £500 mark, and I'm possibly looking to get it engraved too.

Any tips please!

At 500 quid the quality mechanical watches are mostly out of your price range so I assume you are looking more at jewellery pieces

If you want something stylish then maybe the Gucci 1500 , ok it's quartz and you are paying for the name but I have bought 2 of these for ladies ( one for my wife and one for my mum ) and both were delighted with them

There are many versions silver or gold with varying dials

heh get something flashy looking but keep the reciept
