Watch PC on an HDTV

As the question says it, what would I need to buy if I wanted to watch what my PC was displaying on my HDTV?

My TV is in the next room to the PC, so it wouldnt be a case of having to run cabling between different floors of the house, but at the same time if there was a wireless solution it would be even better

I dont think there is a wireless solution.

Only ways i can think of is:
VGA > VGA
VGA > DVI
DVI > VGA
DVI > HDMI

Whoa! Talk about me reviving a very old post of mine, but as I have treated myself to a DELL XPS M1530 lappy, this thread is basically the same question, this time with a much simple solution.

As this has a HDMI port, im assuming all that I will need to display this on my HDTV is a HDMI to HDMI cable that will be long enough?

Yup. Or you could get a wireless media sender which connects to the pc wirelessly and then to your tv via component or hdmi cable
