Watch that dust around your PS3!!!

Don't really care about Sony's line on it, it's the comments that really gets to me;

Sony should get into politics. They seem to have the whole lying through their teeth thing down.

I was going to buy a PS3 sometime before the end of the year but this completely changes everything.

Nice going Sony.

people at Sony need to get their heads out of their asses.

I refuse to buy a PS3, or a PSP, now. I thought about making the plunge, however, in light of this escapade, I'll spend my money with Microsoft and Nintendo.

When my camcorder dies, I'll find another manufacturer to go with. I will teach my children about the horrors of Sony electronics. They will boycott Sony forever. Not only did Sony lose my dollar, but they will probably never see my children's money either.
And.....

there's goes my urge to buy a PS3.

oh, well.

i guess i can live without R&C.

but it's a shame that now i'll have to buy Across the Universe on reg. DVD and watch it upscaled on my HD DVD player.

*sigh* i'll live.

WAAAAAH WAAAAAH DUST WAAAAH

I love how people get all emotional about this insignificant dust thing then go on to harp about getting a 360 or such despite the fact it has a 33% failure rate. This is why I sometimes hate console gaming.

its a result of the finish and nothing to do with sony

my Piano black Samsung TV does exactly the same thing

(least they look as dusty as each other !)

Am I the only one thinking this guy loves complaining and has done so so many times over the years that he has become a professional complainer. He just stinks to me of ungrateful ******* to be honest. I feel sorry for the poor customer service representative. This guy has got to have one of the most dusty entertainment cabinets ever!

This topic has appeared on many a forum today and was later debunked, I had no problem sending mine back and got my exchange no problem.

It must have been seriously caked in dust internally.

Bloody hell, a far cry from the customer service over here. When my drive died recently not only did a courier deliver a new unit to my door two days later but there was no checking my console they just swapped it over no questions.

I must have been on the phone a total of 2 mins with them to organise an exchange, I was very impressed :)

Why are you all moaning about the guy with the broken PS3? I'd like to know how you would feel if you sent yours back and got told its not going to be fixed because its got a bit of dust in it. Seems ridiculous to me.

It's not just console gaming. Fanboyism is alive and well everywhere.

He's quite clever really. Regardless of where the blame lies he'll probably get a replacement out of the publicity he's generated.
