I have been thinking about getting a watch for sometime.

A Watch that I think is absolutely lovely is the Omega Seamaster NZL-32 Chrono

Its just a little out of my league.

I have been looking at the Seiko Coutura and Arctura range and I have wittled it down to these two.

I don't know which to choose!!!

Anyone have either of these watches?

Are you happy with your Seiko if you have one?

You can pick up a new Omega Seamaster Pro quartz for £800-850 if you haggle with the Authorised dealers and pay cash, if you are very lucky you might find the old automatic calibre version for the same money but a Co-axial will be about £1400.

The Omegas will hold there value very well and if serviced well will last longer than you.

Surely as long as it tells you the time, it shouldnt matter what it looks like :D

Yep, I'm really happy with my Sportura, and it's still less than a year old.

Want to evenutally get an Omega Seamaster, but I reckon I'm too young for one & I'm saving up for a MacBook PRO instead :p

Getting a plain looking Seiko Kinetic Titanium for my birthday, decided the two styles you've posted were a bit too much going on for me, but of the two, I prefer the first.

I also aspire to an Omega, not for a few years yet though. Could get one for my 25th :p

HiRes

Only cost me £744.21 from offical dealer

Excellent price, I bought my Seamaster Pro for £400 used with warranty card, manuals, both boxes and receipt and battery serviced, the Speedmaster was £530 used inc receipt etc.

Lovely watches that I enjoy wearing.

I have decided to go for the Arctura.. The Seamaster I like is the NZL 32 Chrono, as its £2500 I will only be getting one of those if I win the lottery :)

The Arctura will be nice to wear on any occassion, I think thats the one I want!!

Thanks for the replies :)

I have the exact arctura you posted, personally find it a bit too large but I have weedy wrists. It was bought for me as a present by an ex and haven't worn it for months but tis still keeping good time! Keep meaning to sell it but can't find the links I took out :(

Does look very very nice though, you'll find it in most H Samuels if you want to see it in the flesh
