Water Cooling help!!!

I am thinking of watercooling for my i7 (4ghz) rig. Want very low temps!

Have been told you have to pay around £250 to make it worth while, instead of using air.

On selecting the best parts from overclockers, the total came to under £200. How are people spending more?

I would get the Swiftek pump personally. Get a cheaper 240mm rad and add a 120mm rad on the front intake.

£64 for a 120.2 rad is a lot unless it's a Thermochill or Feser. Get a Thermochill.
The Swiftech pumps are just re-badged Laings so you're fine with that pump although you can get cheap Eheims (much bigger and 240v) at auction.
Don't forget you haven't included a reservoir, tubing, barbs (possibly), fans or coolant. But I agree, it doesn't have to be expensive. You don't need a res, just a t-piece from B&Q and some extra tubing to make a T-piece. You don't need fancy coolant, de-ionised water and Halfords Coolant Conditioner will do. You can get crap tubing from DIY stores and aquarium shops but it is definitely worth getting Masterkleer or Tygon as it's not expensive compared to the overall cost.

Most people put an aftermarket top on that pump at about £15, as it improves performance and lets you use whatever barbs/tubing you like. Aside from that, £250 quoted is likely to be for a triple radiator, and you'll be surprised at what barbs + tubing + fans come out to
