Water damage

Hey,

I'd like some advice on how to recover my phone in which unfortunately was in my bag when my lunch leaked yesterday. It is now covered in some viniger salad dressing and the keypad won't work.

I have taken the front off and have used an alcohol spray to clean it but I cannot get into the key pad. The phone is a Nokie 5310.

Any advice on how to get the keypad up would be good as everything else is working.

Bowl of uncooked rice if you want to get all the moisture out of it.

Indeed and it works ! well for water anyhow.

Hey,

Thanks all. I should have mentioned that I already had the top of the key pad off (as illusrated in the link) but wanted the white bit underneath off.

I'll try the rice tonight and see how it goes.
