Watercooled Case Gallery

Black Ice Extreme radiator, gutted 120mm as a shroud, SlitEdge block (suffered horrific galvanic corrosion) and a pump/res that I can't remember the name of.

We have come rather a long way in fifteen years!

One of the principles was to have the shortest tube runs and I think I managed that.

The system is only used for Folding@Home so does run at very high load on those GPU but their temps are both under 50C.

CPU is a G4400 with a Chinese no-name $15 block

System is designed purely for Folding@Home which is why its GPU's massively outpower its CPU which exists only to feed data to the GPU's.

I think I may have beaten my own record for the least tubing ever. The top two rads join like this:

This is brilliant. What are the specs that are being cooled? Why the tinfoil? Is it quiet? Why switch from lovely blue coolant (antifreeze?) to pee? So many questions!

Metallic tape was often used to attach fans to radiators if the radiator was non-standard which many weren't. The image below is connecting a 120mm fan via a tin shroud to a Vauxhall heatercore. Metal tape to hold the three things together.

This also features a T-piece reservoir/filling tube, an Eheim 1250 pond pump and the grand-daddy of all modern water blocks, an original Cathar Little River Whitewater.

Hey guys.

Currently building my rig, slowly but surely.

I want to go a bit crazy with the RGB for when I want to show.off... but can RGB do a nice white colour too?

Need recommendations for CPU block LGA 1700 6/9 fans for rads and GPU block. Unsure on card right now. It will either be a 3080 or something when new cards co e out
please start a new thread. this is for pictures not discussion.

I get to update my thread!

Phanteks P500A. Phanteks M25-140 fans on the outside of the front connected with fan screws from the inside, then 360 60mm rad connected to the case with screws passed through the blades of the 140s on the front. Had to mod the front panel to fit 3 140s but it was just a matter of breaking off some plastic.

GPU is an Asus Dual OC 4070 Super with a Bykski 4070 TUF fullcover block which fortunately fits on the new super cards. 4070 is on 110% with a 50MHz and 1000MHz core and ram overclocks.

CPU block is an old EK on a 7700K on a Maximus IX Formula. CPU is on a 5GHz OC.

Roof rad is an old 240. roof and rear fans are ancient EZDIY-FAB 120s.

Computer is only used for internet use but gpu is running Folding@Home 24/7.

As I am in Thailand, my ambient is a little toasty. It's currently 23:10 and my room ambient is around 30c. GPU at full load is between 50-55c. CPU is only running one core for the Folding@Home so chugging along at a similar 50-55c.
