Ways to keep you IEM's in pristine condition.

I concerned about wear and tear or crinkling (if that is the word) of the cable on my Sony XBA-4's. Is there a way to prevent this? Thank you.

I just coil mine neatly and keep them in their cases - not had one fail yet
