WD Black or Samsung 970 Evo Polaris?

I'm looking at getting a .M2 ssd for my computer and wonder if there is such a big difference between this drives?
I'm looking at a 500gb drive for the time being.

Good question.

I think both are excellent and the WD is meant to be faster but I would choose the Samsung on brand name alone.

Performance would be very similar anyway.

The Samsung is also cheaper.

I was seeing the Pro version which is actually more expensive and it confused me, but yes, the Evo is 20 pounds cheaper.

I would try the WD Black.
